The Brown Mama Monologues is an annual showcase of African-American mothers telling unique stories about the trials and triumphs of Black motherhood in America. Our show amplifies the voices and lived experiences of Black mothers and adds diversity, depth and variety to the overall American motherhood narrative.
I had the most amazing, uplifting, powerful and wonderful time this evening. To be among such strong and beautiful women with grace and strength was invigorating.
